When it comes to the best beauty products and the biggest selection, most people tend to head to Myer. 

They have everything. 

So when it comes to finding the most sought-after, popular products that you must have in your makeup bag, who better to ask than the employees with first-hand experience with every product available. 

We wanted to know which products every woman should have in their artillery. 

These Myer employees gave us the best products for better lashes, skin, lips and more!

We wanted to talk further with our investigative reporter Stephanie Johnson who interviewed the Myer employees and helped create the rankings list.

We wanted to find out how Bare’s Nano Hair Eraser worked for her. 

Stephanie tells the story.


I had seen people posting about bare all over TikTok and Instagram for months but I just thought it was another gimmick and was really sceptical of the product actually working. 

Once I talked to the staff in Myer and nearly every one of them was raving about the brand and said that they are pretty much always sold out, I thought this is something I have to try!

I went on to their site and placed an order for 2 of the hair erasers as they had a special buy 1 get 1 half price deal

The order arrived at my front door 3 days later in a cute little purple box. 

Both myself and my fiancé were super excited as I had been growing my leg hair out for a quite a long time now just for this little experiment (he had started to notice that yes woman do in fact grow hair on their legs) and to be honest I never really thought my legs could get so hairy!

Did it work?

Spoiler alert... it definitely worked!

I had high hopes after all the glowing reviews the Myer staff gave me so I got right to work. 

The instructions said it was best to use after a bath or shower and to rub it on your skin in a circular motion…

So, I hopped in for a quick shower, dried myself off and began scrubbing away at my leg with the hair eraser.

Straight away this was like nothing I had used before 

The eraser began to not only remove all the hair from my leg, but it also exfoliated all the dead skin leaving my leg looking like it had been professionally airbrushed

When I ran my hand along my leg it felt as if it could have been a babies it was that smooth!

I called my fiancé up to the bathroom to show him what looked like magic as I continued rubbing the hair off my leg with ease!

Final Verdict?

Out of all the other brands I can see exactly why everyone chose bare as the clear winner.

The brand is actually Australian and I was absolutely amazed at how well it works.

I am someone who has extremely sensitive skin and have always suffered with rashes, ingrown hairs and strawberry skin so I really was expecting this to be a flop…

The only 2 negatives I can say are that I wouldn’t recommend using it on your face as I did have some skin irritation when trying to use it on some stubborn chin hair and the second is that while being absolutely amazing at removing hair and exfoliating the skin it does take a bit longer than shaving

For me this isn’t a big deal because it also slows down the hair growth so you really don’t have to use it as often as you would have to shave.

All in all I would rate it 9.5/10 and I’ve been converted into a massive bare fan and I am pretty sure you will too!
